San Antonio, TX – January 14, 2015 – Focus POS, a leading provider of restaurant point of sale software for hospitality establishments, has been recognized by Business Solutions Magazine as a Best Channel Vendor in the POS Software category for the second consecutive year. Focus POS was specifically recognized for their product reliability as well as their service and support.
Business Solutions Magazine administers a survey every year in which value-added reseller (VAR) subscribers rate their vendor partners. The publication’s VAR subscribers are asked to rate their channel partners in seven categories: support and service offering, channel programs, channel friendliness, product reliability, product features, product innovation, and adequate VAR margins. Focus POS is constantly on the lookout for ways to create more efficient and reliable software, and those efforts appear to have benefited their channel partners.
A total of 8,848 votes were cast by 2,921 people in this edition of Business Solutions Magazine’s survey. Voters were asked to rate their channel partners on a scale from 0 to 5, with 0 being the worst and 5 being the best. Focus POS’ cumulative score of 4.58/5 was determined by taking the cumulative score from each category and dividing it by the number of VAR subscribers who voted for them. The top 5% of each technology category is named a Best Channel Vendor.
